About

Jixor.com is the personal space of Stephen Ingram. It has been created primarily for my own entertainment and exploration of ideas.

The site is updated periodically, however it is certainly not a regularly updated blog offering a commentary on web design and other such topics. I feel that there is already enough such sites available.

Update

While my main site (this one) has seen little activity I have been updating the Jixor Plugins site. If you use WordPress you might find something interesting there.

MS IE7

I read that MS plans to release IE7. I'll certainly be keeping watch for any further announcments. The following article doesnt give much details on the specifics, but I'm going to be optimistic.

Hottest 100 Day and Australia Day

Make sure you listen to hottest 100 be you from Australia or elsewhere. If you are in Australia but for some strange reason you don't know what frequency to use, go for the frequency finder. If your not in Australia you'll be listening online no doubt, do that via the listen page (its on the right).

Oh yeah also its Australia Day so I'll be drunk later. Maybe even sooner than later.

Jixor Plugins for WordPress

I have created a site to host my plugins for wordpress. Go there for more information, see the following link; jp.jixor.com. I have released a couple already and have a few more to come. Why, I'm not really sure. They don't take long to make. Other than the admin components, so I am doing them a little dodgy.

Long gap between posts was due to not having anything in particular that I felt like posting about plus bussy.

Various

New phpMyAdmin I just noticed that the phpMyAdmin on my site has been updated by the host, at last they have had a go at 'sexing'' it up. Other than a few bugs it is a decent improvment. The HTML however, well... Anyway I'll be upgrading my local dev installs, when the site for it works.

Also, the Web Standards Org Melb thing went down well.

Now I was just looking at my web stats. I must say for a site that actually offers very little I seem to get a lot of traffic. I mean I (currently) don't really offer much in the way of web resources and such. What do you people want!
